Our Story — Tecnocap

At Tecnocap, we believe that preserving food should be as rewarding as the harvest itself. Our journey began over 30 years ago, when a group of passionate entrepreneurs set out to bring the American tradition of home canning to Europe. After visiting the Midwest, they invested in the machines needed to produce home canning products near the Amalfi Coast. As a result, Tecnocap has grown into one of the world’s largest metal closure manufacturers. Through time and further investment in innovations, we grew to become the trusted supplier for the major home canning brands.

Today, we proudly manufacture and supply home canning products in the U.S., bringing industrial know-how and long-term vision to a category that deserves lasting quality. Driven by our passion to continue to innovate in US home canning and supported by a strategic investment from Anchor Hocking, we feel that it is time for a greater focus on American home canning consumers.

Developing our own brand is our next chapter — starting in 2026, we are transitioning into this new brand to better serve the evolving needs of today’s home canners.
